Roller hockey is at a point where the growth of the sport has stalled in some markets while it’s drastically declined in others. Recreational inline skating was a fad of the 90’s, there is not a pro league with TV exposure, and there are not many of the driving forces that there once were to get people into roller hockey.
The Roller Hockey Alliance has been created by many of the leaders within the roller hockey industry in an effort to help unite and grow the sport. RHA does not want to try to be “Everything to Everybody”. Instead we want to offer assistance to others within the sport that share our vision. We are not worried about who gets credit for what, but instead focused on the end result becoming accomplished, which is to grow and unite the sport.
