Mandatory Certified Coaching
One of the goals of RHA is to educate people, which include coaches. With a united effort, we are going to offer coaching certification and will make it mandatory that coaches are certified to be behind the bench. Our goal is to certify all coaches by the end of 2010. Dates and locations of coaching clinics will be available shortly.

Grass Roots Task Force
Rink owners need help getting new people into the sport of roller hockey. Most rink owners are not great at reaching out to their community to show roller hockey as a viable option to other sports offered to kids the same age, 4-10 yr olds.

RHA will have an art director that will be at the disposal of rink owners to help them supply material to mass market. Specialized fliers, banners, pamphlets, etc, can be created and turned around on very short notice to help rink owners get their marketing message created.

RHA will host a monthly conference call with rink owners to share ideas on ways to improve their business. From getting new kids in the sport, providing advice on disciplinary issues within their rink, structuring leagues, etc, it will all be discussed. Rink owners need to be encouraged and feel like there is a true support system for them. In an effort to be efficient, each conference call will have an agenda that is outlined on the website of RHA ahead of time.

Create a Roller Hockey Roadmap
There’s no question that this sport is very fragmented. Many people involved in the sport don’t understand the value of other aspects within the sport. For a rink to be truly successful that rink needs to be good at 3 things.

Getting new players in the building.

Offer a good house league for youth, adults, and high schools

Offer a travel team experience for those looking for more out of the sport beyond the in-house level.
Rinks that are not strong at all 3 aspects eventually shrink, and many fail.RHA has a goal to help rink owners understand the value of all aspects and educate rinks and their players on what the companies of RHA are and what they have to offer to enhance their experience in the sport.

New Roller Hockey Media
RHA will be creating a video that every rink owner can showcase through different promotional opportunities. Whether it’s at a county fair or on the concourse at an NHL Game, they need to be able to make a positive first impression to people about how great the sport of roller hockey is.

RHA is New and Exciting!
Roller Hockey has not seen anything like RHA before. The creators of RHA are the leaders in their respected sectors of the sport and have come together for the first time ever. They are respected by players, rink owners, and manufacturing leaders. It’s an exciting time in our sport. Become part of the movement!
