State Wars 10th Anniversary goes to a Facility That has never had Roller Hockey! Town of Fort Wayne IN is Excited!

State Wars Hockey is extremely excited to announce that for our 10 year anniversary, State Wars will be in a new facility called the Lutheran Health Sports Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The facility was built in 2010, is operated by Canlan Ice Sports and houses 3 NHL sized rinks all under the same roof. The Sports Center is fully air conditioned, has a pro shop on site and features a beautiful full service sports bar restaurant called the "Thirsty Penguin" that oversees all 3 rinks, giving families and fans an awesome bird’s eye view of all games! The Sports Center is also the practice facility for the ECHL's Fort Wayne Komets.
State Wars 10 will be held July 30 - Aug 10, 2014
"Being able to bring State Wars to not only a beautiful new facility, but to a new city in a new state for us is just a great feeling. We constantly try to find fun locations that are both centrally located and very affordable; we have definitely done that by choosing Fort Wayne. One of the many great things about holding the event in a smaller city is the attention to detail and excitement that the local area will provide. The media coverage we will receive will be the best we have ever had, as local television and newspapers will cover the event daily!" said President Tim McManus.
"During our visit to Fort Wayne, I instantly fell in love with the downtown area and knew it would be a location that all of families and teams would enjoy. Being able to walk around a smaller city has huge perks and I suspect State Wars will literally take over the area." said National Director Greg Thompson
