Calls For Growth
The RHA has started their move towards making the sport of inline hockey better on a national level. The first ever Call For Growth was held this past Monday morning with thoughts of grassroots on their minds. With the help of several rink operators on the line along with members of the RHA the communication has started between the group and rinks across the nation.
Thanks to the great participation of Terry Peckham from the Rollin’ Ice Sports Complex in San Jose, California the conversation covered ideas from free learn to play, to supplying equipment to first timers and even some ideas on ways to help schools during gym classes and assemblies. “This was a great first call. With the help of some of the best rink operators in the country the RHA has started something that should be a great thing for rink management to take advantage of,” said CJ Yoder. Calls For Growth will be held monthly. Calls are scheduled to cover a number of different topics that will help rinks from all across the United States with ideas and support. The RHA understands that without rink operators doing well the sport will not grow and without growth all other elements of the sport of inline hockey can not survive.
The RHA would like to thank all of the calls’ participants and look forward to speaking with everyone on the next Calls For Growth!
